food and fashion website goes live!
Samantha Bui, a popular contestant on the most successful season of My Kitchen Rules 2012, has announced the launch of her brand-new website, www.samanthabui.com, which combines her passion for food and developing original recipes with her exceptional talents for fashion and styling.
Fresh from the heat of the incredibly successful 2012 season of MKR, Samantha is now dedicating herself to developing her exciting new website, which will offer readers original recipes, food styling tips, fashion news, restaurant and beauty product reviews, how-to guides and more. Posting at least three times a week, this online space will also be open to readers who are looking for Sam’s advice on food, fashion and everything in between.
A fervent cook and foodie, Sam loves to put her own edgy touch on traditional recipes, leaving an original and distinct mark on each meal she creates. Samantha’s website will be filled with some of the same delicious and stylishly-presented concoctions she cooked up on TV, but will also include plenty of cost effective, time efficient and easy-to-follow recipes for those who are less confident in the kitchen. Not one to follow the crowd when it comes to food and fashion trends, Sam prefers to cook and dress in a way that reflects how she feels.
Passionate about supporting the charities she feels strongly about, Samantha also hopes that www.samanthabui.com will offer a platform for children and young adults living in difficult circumstances to contact her if they are in need of support or advice. Having spent part of her childhood living in foster care, Samantha is now the ambassador of The Create Foundation, and is also working closely with Catholic Care and Be Centre, charities which aim to increase the level of support available for children living in difficult circumstances.
“Children and young adults are extremely important to me and I want them to know that there is someone out there who will listen and respond to them, and understands a little bit about the hardships they are facing. I would like to build a support system through my website and encourage anyone who is looking for guidance and help to contact me”, Sam says.
As part of her role as ambassador, each month Samantha will be supplying The Create Foundation with two of her own favourite recipes, which will printed in their monthly publication. She has also committed to conducting a series of cooking workshops, helping to teach children in foster care how to cook.
