When we think of Rimmel we think of Kate Moss. She’s been the face of the brand for quite some time proving again that her relationship with Rimmel is a match made in heaven. Without a doubt, the world has fallen in love with Kate Moss’s London girl style that oozes with urban cool and sexy sophistication. This year she has created her first ever lipstick collection with a selection of fashion-forward shades to choose from. Being a fan of both Rimmel and Kate, I was very curious to check out her range. I wasn’t surprise to learn that her signature colour was a sexy deep red along with six other fashionable shades. The only problem is the durability of the lipstick, it isn’t very long lasting. My routine is to usually mix a little bit of the lipstick with a lip moisturiser. Kate has chosen a great colour pallet focused mainly on pinks and beige. Rimmel’s new lipstick collection is truly chic like Kate herself with gorgeous shades to fall in love with! Let me know which shade has won your heart!

Pimple miracle cream

My skin is pretty clear but I will get those occasional pimples and always in the same area. I use ASAP clearskin gel or tea tree oil to dry it out but I find these are only effective when the pimple is on the outside. When you discover those annoying pimples that are under the skin, it’s tougher to make it disappear.

I discovered Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals at Star Cosmetic Medicine’s Fashion Parte a few months ago. Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals are developed from the Swiss Alps. They offer luxury clinic strength skincare and “replacement plastic surgery options” such as alternatives to laser surgery or filling injections (not that I need this but I was curious to test out the brand).

Wearing lipstick is very high maintenance and messy at times (teeth and drinking glass). I’ve worn many long lasting waterproof lip products and most of them leave my lips dry. One of my most memorable and bad lipstick situations was when I was filming My Kitchen Rules in Melbourne for Carly & Emily’s instant restaurant. I had just bought Revlon Colorstay Overtime in Neverending Nude. Generally during the day I need to reapply lip conditioner, after doing this the colorstay started clogging up. Naturally I started to freak out as the producers were calling us in for filming. I tried to scrap it off with my finger and tissues but this didn’t work. Lucky enough Emma (MKR scientist from WA) noticed that I was in trouble and quickly got me a wet wipes. She helped me reapply a different lipstick of her own. I thank you Emma for aiding me on my time of a beauty crisis!
