Pureceutical, Laserceutical and Ophthaceutical
I discovered Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals at Star Cosmetic Medicine’s Fashion Parte a few months ago. Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals are developed from the Swiss Alps. They offer luxury clinic strength skincare and “replacement plastic surgery options” such as alternatives to laser surgery or filling injections (not that I need this but I was curious to test out the brand).

 My daily routine includes Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals Pureceutical Cleansing Gel, Laserceutical and Ophthaceutical. Pureceutical Cleansing Gel is great for every day, it removes dirt and excess oil on the skin. The gel contains hyaluronic acid and peptides to hydrate skin and fight the signs of ageing. The gel doesn’t foam because it is plant extract based, so I was instructed to use a hot wet towel to remove the cleanser. It leaves your skin feeling instantly cleansed and hydrated. I tested to see if the Pureceutical Cleansing Gel worked by using it twice a day for a few weeks then switching to St Ives Apricot Scrub. Immediately I started to break out so I switched back to the Pureceutical Cleansing Gel and with the help of ASAP clearskin gel I was back on track.

After cleansing I apply the two-step Laserceutical serum, cream for day and gel for night. I have to say this is one of my favourite products. It removes my dead skin cells leaving your skin feeling incredibly fresh, smoother and glossy. I was actually scared to use the Laserceutical serum because it is mentioned as a very strong product, label reads “clinic strength”. So it is recommended that you do a small patch test on the skin before use. I don’t have sensitive skin, so this product is fine on me. According to Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals the Laserceutical it is an alternative to laser surgery. ”It removes the dead skin cells and creates a newer layer of epidermis which launches the smoothing process and significantly reduces fine wrinkles, pigment stains, scarred and liver spots. The active substances of the Laserceutical preparations combine the topical activity of bearberry leaf extract with that of magnesium ascorbyl phosphate and a purified water-soluble biosynthetic active component which promotes lightening and an even skin tone on all skin types. The efficacy of the product’s active ingredients has been proven in in-vitro assays and in-vivo studies.” I don’t really need to moisturise after applying the serum but I will occasionally apply a 5-cent coin piece of oil free moisturiser.

I have dark circles around my eyes. You might not know this because I use the amazing Bye Bye under Eye Concealer by It Cosmetics to cover them up. Ophthaceutical gets rid of dark circles by lightening up the skin. For me I’ve developed a slight improvement but not much, I continue to use it once a day as it gets rid of puffiness.

Fytofontana Cosmeceuticals price range is on the luxurious side but I would definitely continue to repurchase because the quality of the products are impeccable. Watch this space for the Collagenceutical review. x
