Makeup Forever HD and Duo Matt

make up forever

As most people know I am a makeup girl! Back before my Makeup Forever days, I was religiously obsessed with MAC Studio fix Foundation and power. MAC Studio Fix products are mostly used for photo shoots and runways. Studio fix provides extreme coverage meaning it contains a lot of silicon.

This was too heavy on my skin and I just looked an over painted geisha. Like many girls, I was blinded until one day I walked into a make-up boutique called PM studio. I was introduced to Makeup Forever HD Foundation and Duo Matt powder. When I first read the name Makeup Forever, I immediately thought this was a cheap brand. In fact, Makeup Forever is made in Paris and worn by many celebrities such as Kim Kardashian (just like to point out that this wasn’t the selling point for me). I tested out the Makeup Forever HD ($59) with the Duo Matt Power ($55) for a soft powered finish. My face felt extremely light with maximum coverage. You could still see my freckles but my skin looked luminous. The oil free innovated Formulas have been created for both HD Cameras and to the naked eye. The most amazing part is the longer you wear it, the better it looks because it’s enriched with moisturizing agents that keeps the skin hydrated. Not saying that you can wear this foundation for three days straight … be reasonable!  You can actually see the difference as I made the transaction during the filming of My Kitchen Rules 2012, check out my album for the My kitchen Rules final. I highly recommend going in and seeing the lovely ladies at PM studio as they will match your colour perfectly and they stock a large range of Makeup Forever products.

They are launching a new foundation at the moment, it’s called HD, it’s meant to be really good. I didn’t know you were into make up, I have a blo about make up too! But only in French at the moment…
My parents in law brought me lots of make up from France, I have to show them to you! Ysl, Chanel and Dior… Love it!
Anyway, have a look if you can understand a bit of French, and I know you do :-p
