MKR LIVE Contestant Cook-off

For the first time ever, Australia’s favourite home cooking show My Kitchen Rules goes live at the Royal Melbourne Show.

From September 22 to October 2, celebrity chef and MKR guest judge Karen Martini will host the exciting MKR LIVE shows inside the Royal Melbourne Show’s purpose built venue, the new Entertainment Dome.

The MKR contestants, including this year’s South Australian finalists Nic and Rocco, NSW Sam and Jillian, Tasmania’s Megan and Andy, Season 2 winners Sammy and Bella and more will once again do battle with the MRK clock. Joining them at selected events will be special celebrity chefs Guy Grossi from Grossi Florentio and Longrain’s Martin Boetz and others.

The show’s audiences will experience first hand the pressure contestants face when trying to beat the MKR LIVE clock. Audience members will also have the chance to join their favourite contestants on stage, and everyone will have the opportunity to meet their favourite celebrity chefs and MKR contestants at meet and greet and book signing events.

The MKR LIVE experience will see contestants showcase their culinary skills and recreate their favourite home-cooked meals in our on- stage Instant Restaurant, with recipes featuring a range of fantastic local produce sourced from Royal Melbourne Show exhibitors.

MKR Live Sessions

Daily at 2.30pm, 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, there will be an additional show at 7.45pm.

MKR LIVE is located in the purpose-built venue inside the Royal Melbourne Show’s new Entertainment Dome, which is found on Town Square.
